What attendees thought of the LendInvest Property Development Academy

LendInvest ran its first Property Development Academy in London last month. Attendees from all over the UK gathered to learn how to better equip themselves with the skills they need to grow their property development portfolios. Speakers from CBRE, Gleeds, Arcadis, Gowling, Residential Edge and AZ Urban Studio gave their insights into their respective fields of expertise.

Here’s a roundup of what the candidates had to say about the course:

I thought Sinead’s presentation was excellent, punchy, illustrated and to the point with some really useful insights to consider when thinking about an exit strategy.
Dominic Short, Clear River

Just attended a two-day seminar run by LendInvest. Very interesting few days – I thought I had a good all-round knowledge of property acquisition, planning, and finance, but it went in depth to a lot of subjects that enlightened me. Speakers included QSs, planning experts, lawyers and sales specialists in addition to financial guys. Quality of the speakers and their presentations was very good – so much so I have commissioned the sales + marketing guru already.
Brian Hoban, Hob and Design

I found the course very enjoyable with extremely useful content that I came away with.
Michael O’Doherty, The Sea Star Hotel

The Academy provided a great platform to network with a great mix of people from the industry.
Zeeshaan Shah, One Capital

I am an experienced property developer and I found the two-day course extremely well organised and full of great content. I would highly recommend it to experienced developers and new starters alike. Furthermore, it is a great opportunity to network and meet like-minded people.
Jay Munoz, Co- founder and director of Assets for Life Ltd

Thanks for your hospitality over the last few days; you and your team put on a fantastic event backed by knowledgeable speakers in a relaxed environment. I will certainly be in touch when I have a project which requires a speedy decision on short-term finance.

I was really pleased to be able to attend LendInvest’s first Property Development Academy. It was a very well-organised and enjoyable course, covering a diverse range of topics, ensuring there really was something for everyone. It was helpful meeting both others with similar interests and the consultants giving the talks. It was also really interesting meeting the team at LendInvest, and on their home turf. It was helpful to get a sense of their unusually forward-thinking, hands-on and personable approach and I certainly hope to work with them in the future.
Richard Cross

The LendInvest Property Development Academy is a fantastic opportunity to participate in interactive seminars with skilled speakers, network with developers from all over the UK and learn more about the funding decisions that will enable us all to maximise our future prospects… Many thanks to the LendInvest team.
