UTB appoints new mortgage operations manager

United Trust Bank has appointed Avison Warren (pictured) as its new mortgage operations manager.

Warren, who has 15 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, joins from Accord Mortgages, where he held the position of operations manager for lending shared services.

Prior to this he worked at Future Mortgages, Citi Bank and Genesis Home Loans.

His new role will focus on fintech and digital solutions projects.

Commenting on the appointment, United Trust Bank commercial director of mortgages Buster Tolfree says: “Warren brings a great deal of real-world experience in delivering significant IT and change projects in a high growth mortgage business.

“We are investing in great people and creating digital solutions to enable us to continuously improve our offering to brokers and customers.”
