Tipton launches lowest ever rates

Tipton and Coseley Building Society has launched a new range of mortgages with rates starting at 1.04 per cent.

The discounted rates are the lowest the society has ever issued.

Rates start at 1.04 per cent, discounted until 31 January 2020, up to a maximum loan-to-value of 65 per cent.

For a 75 per cent loan-to-value a rate of 1.09 per cent is available until 30 November 2019.

Both have a £99 booking fee and £900 arrangement fee, but include a free standard valuation.

The rates on products with no arrangement fee are 1.29 per cent and 1.34 per cent respectively.

Tipton head of mortgage sales Richard Groom says: “Helping people buy their own homes has been a long-standing ethos at the Tipton. I’m sure customers will be impressed with our all-time low competitive mortgage rates.”
