The Melton cuts rates for loyal customers

The Melton Building Society has reduced its rates for existing customers.

Notable product reductions include the 60 per cent LTV five-year fixed rate product reduced from 2.55 per cent to 2.29 per cent, and the 75 per cent LTV five-year fix cut from 2.59 per cent to 2.55 per cent.

In addition, the lender has sliced rates on the 90 per cent LTV five-year fix from 2.85 per cent to 2.75 per cent.

Furthermore, the 60 per cent LTV three-year fix has been reduced from 2.29 per cent to 1.99 per cent, the 75 per cent LTV three-year fix from 2.39 per cent to 2.25 per cent, and the 90 per cent LTV three-year fixed rate product from 2.59 per cent to 2.49 per cent.

The Melton Building Society head of sales and marketing Dan Atkinson comments: “We believe in rewarding customers who want to stay with us by offering our best value rates and removing product fees.”

“Brokers can also benefit from a 0.25 per cent procurement fee for helping us to look after our existing customers by transferring them on to our loyalty products.”
