Shawbrook Bank has announced the appointment of Paddy Fermor (pictured) as its new commercial director.
Fermor hails from Post Office Money, where he worked as head of design & delivery. He has also spent time at Help for Heroes, Barclays, and Deloitte Consulting.
His new job will see him set the strategic direction of the business and help to “drive forward its plans for transformation”.
The appointment follows July’s news of David Robinson joining Shawbrook as sales and distribution director from Yorkshire Building Society, where he worked for 29 years.
Shawbrook Residential Mortgages managing director Jeremy Law says: “Paddy’s wealth of knowledge and expertise will be a huge asset to the residential mortgages team and I am excited to work with him to push forward our ambitious change agenda.”
Fermor comments: “My new role offers me a fantastic opportunity to help the business develop some propositions that will offer our existing and new customers something truly different”.
