Shawbrook announces new head of products and markets division

Shawbrook has promoted Daryl Norkett to head of products and markets.

He previously worked as a senior development manager and was reportedly instrumental in the firm’s July launch of the new refurbishment costs option to its STL range.

Norkett joined the company in 2015, having previously worked at Barclays for nearly five years as the company’s business manager.

The responsibilities of the new role include developing the banks product offerings by building a small team to gather feedback from the market through Shawbrook’s broker partner panel.

Shawbrook Commercial Mortgages sales director Emma Cox says: “I am delighted to announce Daryl’s well-deserved promotion.

“His hard work, dedication and market expertise makes him the ideal person for this new role within the commercial mortgages division.

“I am excited to see how Daryl will drive forward our ambitions to bring products to the market, based on valuable feedback from our broker panel.”
