Shawbook hires regional development manager

Shawbrook Bank has announced that Daniel Standing (pictured) has moved from the bank’s underwriting team to work as a commercial mortgage regional development manager.

In his new role, Standing, who joined Shawbrook in 2011, will be covering London and the South East.

He will work alongside London business development manager Shrena Patel, who joined the bank in mid-September 2018, coming from a corporate banking background.

On his new position, Standing says: “I’m excited to challenge myself with this move to the sales team. Having a deep understanding of the lending requirements of the business puts me in a great position to work with brokers on cases and I can’t wait to get out on the road to meet them.”

Shawbrook head of sales Gavin Seaholme adds: “I’m thrilled that Daniel has joined the sales team. His knowledge of our proposition is second to none and I’m looking forward to see him flourish in his new role supporting our broker partner panel”.
