Bridging and development lender Roma Finance has doubled its BDM and underwriting teams with a wave of new appointments.
The lender says this is in response to a significant increase in lending levels this year.
New appointments include Tom Hill, Sohail Akram and Will Sterio, who are all have the role of business development manager.
Hill has seven years’ experience as a bridging and commercial packager, and joins from Y3S, where he was head of bridging finance.
Akram has worked in the finance and banking sector for over 10 years, including roles at Natwest and HSBC. Sterio has worked for seven years in the banking and peer-to-peer lending sector.
In addition, Rachel Pollock and George Tuffin join the company as bridging specialists.
Internal promotions have also taken place with Simon Micklethwaite becoming a senior BDM and Daniel Hill promoted to divisional sales manager.
Roma Finance says it has seen an 80 per cent increase in lending in the first half of 2018, and has introduced new systems to process this volume of business.
