Rob Barnard leaves Pepper for Masthaven Bank

Former Pepper Money sales director Rob Barnard has joined the long-term lending side of Masthaven Bank in the same role.
Barnard is a well-known face in the industry, having worked with Pepper Money for two and a half years and six and half as head of business development at Aldermore.
He will oversee Masthaven’s first and second charge residential and buy-to-let mortgages, working alongside Richard Deacon Sales Director of short term lending solutions.
Masthaven managing director Jon Hall says: “Masthaven continues to invest in hiring the best senior talent as well as developing and training our people. Rob is a talented, experienced addition who will add significant strength in depth to our mortgages team.”
Masthaven managing director of mortgages Matt Andrews says: “Rob Barnard has a wealth of experience in the mortgage market and will help Masthaven to deliver on our ambitious growth plans for the sector.
“Rob’s remit will include developing the existing relationships we have with our intermediary partners as well as strengthening our proposition and infrastructure to deliver on the Masthaven brand promise to our mortgage clients. He will also support the development and delivery of our product pipeline to provide more solutions to help our intermediaries to meet the needs of their customers.”
