Principality Building Society has launched an online case tracking tool to let brokers track the progress of individual mortgage applications.
The online service, Brokerpoint, lets brokers monitor applications in real time.
The lender says this will simplify the application process.
Once brokers login to the online tool, they can either choose to view their Principality portfolio of cases or pull up updates on specific cases.
Brokerpoint splits the application process into five stages: submitted, underwriting, offered, awaiting completion and complete, informing brokers exactly what stage the application is at.
The tool will be accessible through the intermediaries section of Principality’s website for registered brokers.
Principality head of regulatory sales Shaun Middleton says: “The new service will be available to brokers at any time of day allowing them to get updates simply and quickly. We hope the tool will save brokers time and keep them better informed at every stage of the process.”
The Welsh building society launched the new service after broker feedback.

My clients always want to know the valuation figure and this system enables me to provide them with this information outside working hours making it even easier to work with Principality.”
