Positive Lending hires Anna Bennett as marketing director

Bournemouth-based packager Positive Lending has appointed Anna Bennett to the newly-created role of marketing director.

Bennett will be responsible for the marketing strategy and brand development.

She joins from the Business Lending Group, where she was marketing and PR director. She has also had spells as the marketing director of InterBay Funding and a senior market manager at GMAC-RFC.

Director Chris Fairfax says: “We knew Anna’s reputation from her marketing of InterBay and BLG. When we were searching for a marketing expert to help us deliver our business objectives, Anna’s profile was a perfect match. She is highly respected and brings with her a wealth of financial marketing experience.

“Hiring Anna is one of a number of strategic appointments for Positive. We have recruited 20 financial experts already this year, in fact we have more than doubled the Positive team over the last 12 months. Our company continues to go from strength to strength.”

Bennett says: “I’m excited to join the Positive team at this point in the company’s growth. Positive has an impressive track record and hugely ambitious plans for the future.”

In June the packager hired distribution giant John Malone as its new non-executive chairman.
