Pepper Money has announced that Ryan Brailsford (pictured) will work as the lender’s newly-created head of sales for the North.
Promoted from the position of regional development manager, in which he worked for two and a half years, Brailsford will manage a team charged with supporting brokers in expanding their businesses through the take up of more specialist cases.
Brailsford previously worked at Aldermore Bank, Prue Protect, Direct Mortgage Answers, and RBS.
Pepper Money acting sales director and head of national accounts Clare Jarvis comments: “[The creation of this role] demonstrates our commitment and focus on building mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with brokers across the country.
“With a deep understanding of the region, strong connections and unrivalled knowledge about Pepper, Ryan is the perfect choice for the role.”
Meanwhile, Brailsford himself adds: “I have worked in business development roles with mortgage brokers in the North for well over a decade and I don’t think there has ever been a time of more opportunity.
“Changing demographics and working patterns mean that more borrowers are turning to professional mortgage advice and specialist lenders are responding to this demand with increasingly competitive products and service propositions.”
