Paradigm adds Newcastle Intermediaries to lending panel

UK-Houses-Building-Homes-700x450.jpgParadigm Mortgage Services has added Newcastle Intermediaries to its lending panel.

Paradigm member firms will be able to access the lender’s range of products which include buy-to-let, self-employed and Help to Buy mortgage deals.

Newcastle Intermediaries will provide mortgages up to 95 per cent LTV, fees-assisted products and five-year fixed-rate buy-to-let deals, stressed at a rental coverage of 145 per cent at 4 per cent.

The lender will also offer mortgages to the newly self-employed with just one year’s accounts. It will also take into account both salary and dividend payments for company directors, providing they have a minimum 25 per cent shareholding.

Paradigm Mortgage Services head John Coffield says: “Many building societies have reshaped their offering in recent years to provide a more bespoke product offering to individuals who might not fit a more ‘vanilla’ proposition.

“Newcastle Intermediaries has a range of product options and a commitment to individual underwriting that allows them to look at many borrowers and not just sentence them to a ‘computer says no’ approach.”

Newcastle Intermediaries head of mortgage distribution Steve Carruthers adds: “We’re looking forward to working with Paradigm Mortgage Services whose personal approach to customers service mirrors our own.

“Our service to brokers has been responsibly designed and based on broker feedback. Similarly our underwriting demonstrates our commitment to helping brokers manage a variety of customer needs whether straightforward or non-standard.”
