NatWest is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Group.The bank concentrates on four key areas: personal, private, business and commercial banking. Within these four areas, NatWest offers various current and saving accounts and loans. In addition, savings and investment options are offered in the form of ISAs, fixed-rate bonds, investment advice and share dealing. It also provides a range of mortgage products.

NatWest Intermediary Solutions is the adviser-facing mortgage arm of the whole RBS Group. It specialises in products that are suitable for mortgage brokers to recommend to clients, including buy-to-let, residential and shared-equity mortgages. In 2012, NatWest launched a corporate range of mortgages available to both DA and AR firms.

In the first half of 2014, NatWest made an operating profit of £817m and their net income went up to £253m.
