NatWest adds online system to speed up mortgage process

NatWest Intermediary Solutions has introduced a new secure document upload facility for brokers to speed up the mortgage process.

With the new system, brokers will be able to upload documents online to support the application process, following a pilot with select brokers last year.

NatWest says the new system is part of its efforts to work better with the broker market.

The lender says the new facility reduces the need for customers waiting to progress the mortgage process while important documents are in the post.

NatWest Intermediary Solutions customer journey manager for innovation Sarah Taylor says: “This is a further demonstration of our commitment to the broker market and an example of how we are constantly striving to offer the best service possible to brokers and their customers.  Sincere thanks to the pilot participants who helped shape the launched service’’
