Mortgage Strategy Awards 2016: The winners

Screen Shot 2016-02-17 at 12.20.07

Last night, the great and the good of the market attended the 14th Mortgage Strategy Awards.

These awards grow in prestige every year. They enable us to celebrate our market once again as the cream of the sector gathers to relax and exchange business tips.

In particular, we celebrate the resilience of the broker market, which is thriving in the wake of the Mortgage Market Review.

More lenders than ever are relying on the intermediary distribution channel as the role of advised sales grows. And consumers are turning in greater numbers to brokers for help in navigating a complex marketplace with extra layers of regulation and rock-bottom interest rates.

This makes the quality and depth of your advice more important than ever, and these awards – the mortgage industry’s equivalent of the Oscars – toast the very best of the best.

The response from readers has been incredible, with over 2,000 nominations received. From these, shortlists were created and passed to a panel of experts chaired by Mortgage Strategy editor Paul Thomas, which decided upon the winners.

More than 900 people attended this year’s awards event, which was hosted by Romesh Ranganathan. We hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and, to those who did not attend, we hope to see you next year.

We would like to congratulate all the winners and to wish everybody the best of luck for the coming year.
