Mortgage Mole: It’s good to talk

It’s good to talk

With the London Financial Services Expo just days away, Front Events has announced its full seminar programme.

The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries-organised seminar theatre will have talks from the FCA on both days – one on the post-Mortgage Credit Directive market and the second on other challenges the market faces.

Day one will also feature an economic update from Nationwide economist Stefano Silvestrin, while on day two there will be a panel debate featuring high-profile market commentators and a talk from rugby World Cup-winning coach Sir Clive Woodward.

There will also be a host of other seminars on topics such as buy-to-let, mortgage fraud, pensions reform, protection and advice on running a business. The Shawbrook Academy will feature 14 sessions on areas like commercial lending, second charge, residential and technology.

The event will be held at Old Billingsgate on 16-17 September.
