Mortgage Advice Bureau has partnered with Freedom Mortgages to create a telephone advice mortgage brokerage.
The service will trade as Mortgage Advice Bureau and be based in Doncaster, but cover all of the UK, generating leads centrally as well as providing mortgage protection and advice.
MAB says leads and data will be managed via “a sophisticated technology platform, with the customer communication strategy developed to reflect the very individual nature of each lead source.”
Mortgage Advice Bureau chief executive Peter Brodnicki says; “Consumer behaviour is changing fast, largely facilitated by rapidly evolving technology. Purplebricks (with whom MAB already works) and other online and hybrid estate agents are a good example of businesses identifying this trend and delivering alternative ways for consumers to transact. MAB is driven by consumer needs, which means that we have to ensure we provide customers with a range of options to enable them to choose how they want to receive information, advice, and transact.
“The online estate agency customer experience differs from the traditional agency model; therefore, we need to reflect that in our communication and lead generation strategy. Our partnership with Freedom Mortgages delivers a unique solution to online estate agents and their customers, whilst also engaging with nationally based advisers for face to face advice.”
Freedom Mortgages managing director Andrew Fisher says: “By combining our respective skill sets, Mortgage Advice Bureau’s team of expert advisers and award winning technology, coupled with our specialist broker team, can deliver a seamless journey for the customer in the online space.”
