L&G Mortgage Club bolsters conveyancing service

Legal & General Mortgage Club has launched Legal & General Conveyancing Services to improve its service to brokers.

The new L&G arm will offer brokers two conveyancing options.

The first is Legal & General Solutions, supported by BM Conveyancing and powered by ULS Technology. The second is Premier Property Lawyers.

Both options will provide:

• A ‘no completion, no legal fee guarantee’
• Online case tracking and quotation tools
• Helpdesk assistance open seven days a week, including evenings
• Case management from an individual dedicated conveyancer

Legal & General Solutions gives brokers a nationwide panel of more than 200 conveyancers, allowing them to compare on price, location and rating.

Premier Property Lawyers lets brokers work directly with a UK national law firm.

Legal & General Mortgage Club director Jeremy Duncombe says: “ULS complements our strategic partnership with Premier Property Lawyers which is good news for brokers and consumers alike, as it expands the choices available to provide a more tailored approach to conveyancing.

“It is vital that brokers look to differentiate the services they provide, and we now hope to see even more advisers choosing to diversify their proposition.

“Whether it is conveyancing, second charges or protection, brokers can make themselves an indispensable part of the house buying or remortgaging transaction by offering customers a holistic service.”
