Leek United building society has launched a portal to let customers renew mortgages online for the first time.
The portal lets mortgagors go direct to Leek to choose and switch products.
Leek United training & competence manager Rob Longmore says: “We’ve introduced this exciting new facility in response to requests from customers who want the option of being able to deal with us online.
“It makes the whole process of renewing their Leek United mortgage deal a whole lot easier and more efficient and cuts out so much of the paperwork that they would previously have been faced with.”
Previously customers coming to the end of their mortgage deal would have received a pack, forms to fill out or an advised interview in order to switch to a new product.
Leek customers can still get advised sales if preferred.
