Leeds Building Society is extending its shared ownership scheme to allow up to 10 such properties on a single site.
Previously the lender only allowed 25 per cent of homes to be shared ownership on a site.
It will now allow up to 10 properties or 25 per cent of the total to be shared ownership, whatever is greater.
Leeds Building Society director of product and distribution Jaedon Green says: “We helped a record 13,000 people buy their first home in 2017 and, as an expert lender in shared ownership, we continue to support this important pillar of the Government’s affordable housing strategy.”
Last week saw Barclays also make improvements to its shared ownership range.
