Leeds rolls out retention proc fees to all brokers

Leeds Building Society has rolled out retention procuration fees to all brokers following a trial with Connells and LSL.

The payment applies to all like-for-like product transfers in all mortgage areas.

The lender says it has now developed its online retention portal that will let brokers view client details, reviewing their options and request an offer.

Leeds Building Society head of intermediary distribution Martese Carton says: “We remain committed to supporting our intermediary partners, in developing their businesses to help more people to have the home they want.

“The vast majority of our mortgage business is done through our intermediary partners and our close working relationship with brokers has been integral to our success in growing lending above our natural market share in recent years.”
