Leeds BS expands fixed-rate mortgage range

Houses, house, property, monopolyLeeds Building Society has added to its range of two-year fixed-rate mortgages.

The range now includes a two year fix of 1.39 per cent available up to 65 per cent LTV. For those looking to borrow up to 75 per cent LTV, Leeds is offering a two-year fix at 1.44 per cent.

Both come with a £999 fee.

These new mortgage deals are available for both purchases and remortgaging, and offer a free standard valuation.

The mortgage deals are fixed up until July 31 2020. Early repayment charges are tapered during the fixed-rate period, but there is the option to repay up to 10 per cent of the capital penalty-free each year.

Leeds Building Society said the new products were launched after feedback from brokers and borrowers.

These two-year fixes offer cheaper rates than its existing mortgage products but a higher fee.
