Leeds Building Society is adding new products to its fixed rate remortgage range on 6 January.

The new products include a two-year fixed rate loans at 1.55 per cent up to 65 per cent LTV and at 1.60 per cent to 75 per cent.

The range will also include a five-year fixed rate loan at 2.19 per cent up to 75 per cent LTV.

All the remortgage deals come with a free valuation and fees-assisted legal services. There is no product fee.

Leeds Building Society director of product and distribution Jaedon Green says: “Demand for remortgages remained strong during 2016 and continued to grow as a proportion of the mortgage market throughout last year.

“We expect that trend will continue as homeowners look to take advantage of the historic low interest rate.”
