Knowledge Bank upgrade gives brokers proof of research


Knowledge Bank is now providing detailed evidence of research for criteria searches.

The firm claims this is the first time that this has ever been available to the mortgage market.

The upgrade lets brokers find what a lender’s criteria is at an exact moment in time.

These findings will be time- and date-stamped and the broker will be able to be save them to PDF or print them.

Knowledge Bank chief executive Nicola Firth says: “Knowledge Bank is providing the missing piece of the jigsaw where evidence of research is concerned.

“The FCA requires brokers to provide evidence of research for their recommendations to their clients, but until now this has not been entirely possible.”

A broker will also be able to personalise their results with their name and company as well as the client’s name and address.

Intermediaries can also add details of the property amount, the loan amount and term and the repayment method.
