Just Mortgages has appointed two area directors who are joining as part of the self-employed division.
Jon Taylor has joined as area director for the South East and Jason Whiteley for the North East.
Whiteley has 22 years’ experience in the financial services industry, having previously worked at Reeds Rains, the Independent Mortgage Broker and most recently PRIMIS where he held the position of area manager.
Taylor spent the last 18 years at Countrywide most recently having been the regional sales manager, prior to this he worked at Lloyds Bank for 14 years’ as a branch manager.
The responsibilities of the new roles include supporting Just Mortgages’ self-employed brokers, assisting brokers finding introducers and ensuring business plans are FCA compliant.
Just Mortgages director of business partnerships Carl Parker comments: “As more brokers come on board we have increased the number of managers too; most recently with the appointments of Jon and Jason. By April, we will hope to have two more area directors.
“Unlike other networks with self-employed arms, we don’t charge a monthly fee, the broker is self-employed, and therefore, in control of their own destiny, but they have a dedicated sales manager to help and support them.”
