John Charcol partners with OwnMyNest

John Charcol has announced a partnership with digital platform, OwnMyNest.

OwnMyNest is an app which provides information on affordability in relation to the Help to Buy and shared ownership schemes for potential first-time buyers.

According to the firm, the partnership is designed to assist individuals getting onto the property ladder.

John Charcol chief commercial officer Luke Somerset says: “We are delighted to be partnering with OwnMyNest at a time when FTBs are having to rely increasingly on HTB and shared ownership schemes.

“Whilst these government schemes are welcome, prospective FTBs are finding themselves overloaded with information when deciding how to get on the property ladder. OwnMyNest solves this problem by making it easy for FTBs to explore the options available to them.”

OwnMyNest founder ChengVoon Tong adds: “We are excited about the partnership with John Charcol, as it further strengthens our value proposition to enable more people to get on the property ladder.

“The independent and personalised mortgage advice offered by John Charcol will greatly help our users make more informed decisions and navigate through the multitude of products and options out there.”
