Paymentshield appoints new marketing head

Insurance provider Paymentshield has appointed Lee Mooney to the role of product, marketing and proposition director.

Mooney joins from The Co-operative Group, where he was commercial director for the general insurance division.

Prior to the Co-op, he worked at Tesco Personal Finance, Royal Sun Alliance and More Than.

Paymentshield chief executive Gary Duggan says: “Lee is experienced in driving performance and has a proven track record in delivering success. We look forward to him adding significant strength to our senior management team.

“His knowledge of working with big financial brands on their product and marketing strategies will prove invaluable in his new role here at Paymentshield, as we develop our proposition to further accelerate our growth within the industry.”

Mooney adds: “I’m looking forward to working with Gary and the team at Paymentshield in this exciting new role to help take the business to its next stage of development.”
