Nigel Payne joins TFC Homeloans as managing director

Nigel Payne has joined specialist distributor TFC Homeloans as its managing director.

Payne has 25 years’ experience in the mortgage market and has previously been managing director of The Mortgage Business, BM Solutions and Assurant Intermediary. For the past two years he has acted as a consultant and has held a number of non-executive director positions.

He will work alongside Wayne Smethurst and Andrew Brown, the founders of TFC Homeloans.

Smethurst says: “Nigel’s breadth of experience is unique and perfectly suited to TFC. He’s managed intermediary lenders and an insurance company, as well as launching a conveyancer into the broker market. He knows the lending and broker sectors inside out.”

Payne starts his new role with the Warrington-based distributor immediately and has finished his non-exec roles.
