Montello rebrands under LendInvest banner

Bridging lender Montello Bridging Finance has rebranded itself under the name of peer-to-peer arm LendInvest.

LendInvest, a peer-to-peer mortgage lender launched in 2008, has until now operated as part of the Montello group of companies, having been founded by the same consortium.

From today, all of the group’s bridging and P2P lending will be under the LendInvest banner, meaning the MBF brand will no longer exist.

Following the rapid growth of LendInvest over the past 18 months, Montello managing partner and LendInvest co-founder Christian Faes says he believes it is a good time to leverage the brand awareness around the P2P lender.

Faes says: “It just makes sense for us at this stage to get all of our operations under the LendInvest banner. LendInvest has a very broad reach in the investor community and it made sense to leverage off that awareness – it’s a catchy name and is pretty self-explanatory in terms of what we are doing so as a brand it just struck us as the right fit.”
