​Colleys makes two appointments to senior team

Colleys Surveying and Valuation has made two senior appointments, one of which to the newly-created role of chief surveyor.

Les Harris has been promoted to the new position from within the company and will report to Colleys managing director Mark Devlin. As chief surveyor, Harris will be responsible for the operational efficiency of the surveying workforce and will oversee all field teams.

Harris has been a qualified surveyor for over 32 years and joined the Lloyds Banking Group more than 20 years ago as a surveyor.

Colleys has also made Matthew Cumber its new commercial senior development manager. He takes over all commercial aspects of Colleys.

Cumber served as regional sales manager at The Mortgage Business and Birmingham Midshires before taking on his most recent position as regional manager for Halifax Intermediaries.

Colleys managing director Mark Devlin says: “Matthew and Les bring a wealth of experience to these new roles and will be using their expertise to strengthen the business.

“I’m keen to ensure that we continue to build on the progress we’ve made in recent years to explore new ventures and opportunities, and Matthew and Les will play an important role as we drive the business forward.”
