Goldsmith Williams launches remortgage package via PTFS

Goldsmith Williams is launching a legal services remortgage package for intermediaries.

The product will initially be offered exclusively through Personal Touch Financial Services, with a view to being rolled out through other networks if successful.

The deal offers legal services on remortgage products at a reduced rate of £320, inclusive of VAT, which includes an exclusive legal administration fee of £120.

Goldsmith Williams says the package saves customers £99 on its standard legal costs and has been launched in response to tighter remortgage controls put in place by a number of providers in recent weeks.

Eddie Goldsmith, partner at Goldsmith Williams, says: “With so many lenders restricting their criteria for remortgage products, introducers – and ultimately customers – are finding it increasingly difficult to gain access to refinance.

“We have recognised this and launched a market-leading product that will allow introducers to continue to provide clients with competitively priced products and be financially rewarded.”

Dev Malle, sales and marketing director at PTFS, adds: “This is an excellent product for our members and their clients. The timing is perfect as we expect remortgage activity to increase on the back of a number of lenders repricing standard variable rates upwards”.
