NatWest introduces 50% LTV remortgage deal

NatWest Intermediary Solutions has launched a two-year fixed rate remortgage product at 50% LTV.

The deal comes with a rate of 2.99% and a fee of £499 and will be part of the lender’s corporate range.

Mark Bullard, head of sales at NatWest Intermediary Solutions says: “I am delighted to be able to launch such an attractive, low-fee deal into the remortgage market.”

He says that NatWest decided to launch a 50% LTV product as this was highlighted by its corporate partners as something that was missing from its portfolio.

Bullard adds: “I am sure that the combination of a great rate and a low fee will be welcomed. The addition of this product further broadens our overall range, giving us good coverage across the LTV bands from 50% right up to 90%.”

High arrangement fees are hardly fair treatment for clients

I’m interested in the continued talk about treating customers fairly, especially in relation to rates. Despite the Bank of England base rate being 0.5%, to secure an advantageous interest rate on a buy-to-let mortgage of 3.99% – which is hardly giving it away – our clients have to pay an arrangement fee of 3%. So, […]
