Omnii’s CheckIT registrations reach 500 landmark

Omnii Solutions has registered 500 brokers for its CheckIT client credit file application, reaching its target for the first quarter of 2011 ahead of schedule.

The mortgage software developer has now signed up 5% of the UK broker market and credits PMS with securing the largest single proportion of registrations.

John Mawdsley, chief executive officer of Omnii Solutions, says: “CheckIT has already gained considerable traction with brokers and this is in no small part down to our partnership with PMS.

“To have the largest mortgage distributor in the UK on board at such an early stage has proved a brilliant starting off point from which to tackle the wider broker market.

“Sales of our ID verification, anti money-laundering checks and credit file reports have been particularly high.”

Executive chairman of PMS John Malone says the time and efficiency savings Omnii software can produce for brokers are particularly impressive.

He adds: “The brokers who have signed up via PMS say they are using Omnii’s kit to write better quality loans, faster, while being confident of meeting all regulatory standards.

“That’s exactly the sort of support the intermediary market needs at the moment.”

Combined with tight lending criteria, conditions are ripe for a debt crisis and little is being done about it. Government gave a 12-month reprieve to 500 free […]

The Sickness Absence Review published in 2010 suggested that the Independent Assessment Service (now branded Fit for Work) should have three access points; referral by […]
