Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

From everyone at Mortgage Strategy we’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

During 2010 we’ve seen firms go under, brokers get fined, service blunders and the regulator’s grip round the market tighten and no doubt 2011 will be equally action packed.

If you’re lacking in the way of festive cheer, have a read of our Christmas poem which pictures David Cameron trying an alternative approach to reducing the deficit.

November’s gross lending hits 10-year low

Gross mortgage lending in November was an estimated £11.1bn, a 5% drop from the £11.6bn in October and the lowest November total since 2000, show the latest figures from the Council of Mortgage Lenders.
