Whitehot property sees sales worth £73m in March

Whitehot property, a website specialising in the sale of chain-free properties, exchanged on property sales in March worth over £73m.

During March the website was involved in 885 sales and the exchange of 660 contracts, with over £73m worth of property sales.

Whitehot property says this signals a return of consumer confidence to the housing market, as recently more properties have been listed on the website and more sales have been completed.

Robin King, director at Whitehot property, says: “The sheer volume of property that we have seen sold during March is a clear indication that the property market is beginning to gain momentum again.

“The £73m figure reflects this, as a large number of buyers are returning to the market and purchasing property again.”
