More than 400 Countrywide employees from across the UK have taken part in Countrywide’s annual Chairman’s League Awards, which recognises individual and team performances throughout its UK network of more than 1,200 offices.
Estate agents, mortgage consultants, letting and managing agents attended the two-day event on 25 and 26 March 2010 which had a Formula 1 theme.
Staff from Countrywide Residential Lettings attended a Grand Prix Gala Ceremony at the Whittlebury Hall Hotel, while estate agents, mortgage consultants and top performers from Countrywide’s land and new homes team enjoyed full VIP treatment at the Williams RBS F1 Conference Centre.
Countrywide staff competed for 111 awards during a year-long competition with awards reserved for the company’s most successful agents, branches, managing directors and support staff.
Robert Scarff, managing director of Countrywide Estate Agents, says: “2009 was a fantastic year for Countrywide with the second half of the year enjoying tremendous success and market share growth. I’m always impressed by the talented staff we see at these events which are a great opportunity to reward industry excellence. Plans are already underway to make the 2011 awards one to remember.”
Some new faces joined the celebrations after several acquisitions boosted Countrywide’s network to 42 brands, including UK Sotheby’s International Realty.
