Goldsmith Williams opens up equity release market

Goldsmith Williams has extended its specialist equity release service to allow brokers unauthorised to give equity release advice to refer business on.

The conveyancing firm launched its GW Lifetime service last year, which guarantees turnaround times for all legal work.

Goldsmith Williams has now built on this existing service to allow brokers to refer clients to a panel of equity release specialists via the firm’s online portal GW Live.

Richard Espley, manager of GW Lifetime, says: “Brokers have told us that they want to provide their clients with a comprehensive service which includes equity release, without being distracted from their primary house purchase and remortgage markets.

“By integrating this proposition within our GW Live portal it makes the process of referring clients and generating additional income straightforward.

“We also have a team of dedicated equity release experts at hand to answer any queries brokers may have.”
