Exclusive Connections adds Lancashire Mortgage Corporation to panel

Exclusive Connections has bolstered its bridging finance panel with the addition of another Blemain Group lending company Lancashire Mortgage Corporation.

Lancashire Mortgage Corporation offers both first and second charge commercial bridging finance and short term buy-to-let portfolio funding across a wide variety of property types including industrial sites, licensed premises, farms and leisure facilities.

LTVs are available up to 100% with additional security, and self-certification of income is accepted.

Matthew Arena, managing director of Exclusive Connections, says: “We are pleased to be adding a second Blemain Group company to our bridging finance panel. We already work with Lancashire Mortgage Corporation for the provision of commercial term loans and their unrestrictive criteria have proved a great benefit for our brokers.

“We are confident that with their extensive experience of the short term funding market and continued willingness to lend, Lancashire Mortgage Corporation will be a valuable addition to our bridging panel.”

Brokers still have options

The government’s decision to cut the base rate to 0.5% was another nail in the coffin of the remortgage market. With SVRs hitting the floor, for many borrowers the simplest option is to do nothing.
