Bad bankers are a disgrace and should be punished

I write as a former self-employed mortgage broker who has now left the industry and found alternative employment.

In reflecting on what I have left behind, I can’t understand why some bankers have not been prosecuted for gross negligence and incompetence.

They have brought this country close to bankruptcy and yet not a single one has been charged.

Bring these bad bankers to trial and punish them. They are a disgrace to our society and deserve to be prosecuted. Why is this not happening?

On a happier note, moving outside the financial services industry is the best thing I have ever done. To anyone considering it, I thoroughly recommend leaving the sector and its incompetent regulator far behind.
