The multimillionaire fashion designer clearly feels the pain of the little people. Having witnessed the plight of a global populace suffering from unemployment and struggling to pay their mortgages, big-hearted Karl designed a collection for Chanel intended to “create equality in an unfair world”.
The collection is inspired by white paper (yes, white paper) which Lagerfeld says embodies the new modesty sweeping the world. After presenting his helpful designs he told his audience that everyone should stop weeping about the economic slowdown.
