Marketing Innovation Forum goes live today following a successful pilot. It provides information, tools and advice to help businesses use marketing to generate revenue.
Users of the Marketing Innovation Forum, which offers a range of free services, have access to marketing information and tools which are aimed to help add value to their business.
These include an online forum, a suite of branded, FSA compliant templates for adverts and marketing materials, help with lead generation, and a comprehensive guide to industry events.
Julian Wells, one of the founders of Marketing Innovation Forum, says: “Successful marketing is about giving the right thing to the right people at the right time. At present cost management is vital, but at the same time the need to use marketing to help diversify and generate revenue has never been greater.
“We think our concept can deliver genuine benefit to advisers and providers alike. There is an undoubted demand for a marketing service as focused and professional as this in the intermediary market at present.”
Research conducted by Marketing Innovation Forum last year found that 74% of advisers would like help to enable them to use marketing to add value to their business.
The results showed 23% wanted help from other intermediaries, 20% from lenders/providers, 15% from marketing consultants, and 16% from marketing service providers.
The Marketing Innovation Forum has addressed the needs of all these advisers with a bespoke forum in which they can discuss marketing and business related issued with other site users and recognised marketing and industry experts, identified, intriguingly, only as ‘the gurus’.
Over a dozen industry experts have signed up to be ‘Gurus’ on the site. After registering – for free – users can access information and advice about topics (such as brand, print, PR, new revenue opportunities, web design, sales strategy, choosing networks, compliance, recruitment, conveyancing, HIPs, and event management), consulting with dedicated experts in each field.
