John Charcol embarks on recruitment drive

London-based brokerage John Charcol has revealed that despite the market downturn resulting in many brokers shutting up shop, it actually wants to recruit more advisers.

The firm is looking for experienced advisers based within London and Bristol for an immediate start.

The firm currently has around 60 advisers all working under the John Charcol brand and it’s aiming to increase this to around 100 advisers by the end of the first half of 2009.

Walter Avrili, product director at John Charcol, says: “We have a number of excellent business opportunities in a tough market and we need more quality sales people to help us facilitate these.

“The future looks good for John Charcol and we are sure there are plenty of first rate brokers out there who would like to share it with us.”
