RBS Intermediary Partners appoints head of sales

Royal Bank of Scotland Intermediary Partners has appointed Graham Felstead as head of sales.

He will be responsible for managing RBS IP’s 167 strong field and phone based sales team for RBS, NatWest and First Active.

Felstead has been with the RBS Group for seven years, previously in the roles of head of corporate accounts and a regional sales manager with RBSIP.

Chris Pearson, director of intermediary mortgages at RBS, says: “Felstead has a vast amount of experience within the mortgage intermediary sector and will be invaluable in developing our sales proposition.

“This appointment is a real investment in our sales strategy and will ensure we have a clear focus on how we maximize our performance in serving the broker community.”

Survey looks at the challenges facing businesses post auto-enrolment

A survey conducted by Johnson Fleming at the Pension & Benefits Show 2014 highlighted the key challenges faced within organisations post auto-enrolment. The results showed that communicating the changes and the value of them to staff, and receiving timely data from the payroll provider proved to still be the most challenging aspects of managing an auto-enrolment scheme.
