Brokers will pay a one-off fee to market properties for an unlimited period but earn a referral fee for each property advertised.

Bancroft says: “We are excited about the launch of Mortgage-Portal and there will be ongoing development of the website. We are offering the services of companies committed to the broker market. In some cases, these services may not be av-ailable to brokers direct.”

“Inclusion on the website is free for providers and there will also be content-managed advertising opportunities at low cost, providing nat-ional coverage at a time when re- sources are stretched.”

Simon Chalk, mortgage and equity release planner at Mortgage Portfolio Services, says: “We’ll be interested in looking at this website when it launches. A lot of portals sound good in theory but their success is down to useability.”
