Katie Tucker joins mortgageforce

Katie Tucker, former technical manager at John Charcol, has been named technical manager of mortgageforce.

Tucker was made redundant from John Charcol in June after six years at the firm. Prior to her role at the brokerage she held positions at Savills Private Finance and Halifax.

Tucker says: “I can’t wait to start working with mortgageforce chief executive Rob Clifford, chief operating officer Kevin Duffy and the rest of the team.”

Also last week, Peter Stimson was appointed commercial director at Checkmate Mortgages.

Stimson has previously held roles at Lehman Brothers as executive director of structured finance and at GMAC-RFC with Checkmate executive chairman Stephen Knight.

Knight says: “I have known Stimson for a long time and am sure he will be a valuable addition to our senior management team.”
