Edeus offers golfing trip to brokers

Brokers who submit savings account business via edeus are being offered the chance to win a four night golfing trip to Portugal.

One broker stands to win return flights and a round of golf for two at Qiunta da Lago, as well as a four-night stay at the five-star Lake Resort in Vilamoura, Portugal.

Brokers who submit accepted clients for either a Newcastle 50:50 Balanced FTSE account or a Skipton Guaranteed Double Asset Bond account will automatically be entered into the free prize draw. In addition, every savings account that is opened will earn brokers up to 2.75% in commission.

The Newcastle product comprises 50% of capital which is put into an easy access account, with the remaining 50% tracking growth in the FTSE 100 Index over a five-year term.

With the Skipton savings product, clients will earn a fixed rate of 5.00% per annum until October 2009 with capital and any interest split over a one-year fixed rate bond and an index-linked bond.

Alan Cleary, managing director of edeus, says: “Following the successful launch of our innovative savings scheme, it’s only right to show our appreciation and thank brokers for their support. At a time when it all seems to be doom and gloom it’s great to be able to create some excitement.”
