CRM can leave brokers waving not drowning

Association of Mortgage Intermediaries director-general Chris Cummings is correct when he says customer relationship management is the key to success for brokers (Mortgage Strategy September 1).

We have been saying since Mortgage Day that professional CRM systems enable brokers to act profess- ionally while satisfying Financial Services Authority requirements. I’m relieved to read that AMI has endorsed this essential part of every successful broker’s office set-up.

The Treating Customers Fairly deadline approaches and that distant roar in the background is the sound of FSA Falls. As some brokers gently drift downstream in their canoes, CRM back office software can offer business-saving paddles for just £1 a day.
