Nationwide adviser crowned slimming queen

A Nationwide employee has been crowned slimmer of the year after shedding nearly 10 stone in nine months.

Nicki Forster, a 33 year old cashier and accounts adviser at the society, is now a svelte 10st 11lb and gearing up for her next challenge – running this year’s London Marathon.

This time last year Forster tipped the scales at over 20st and says she was helped in her effort by colleagues at Nationwide’s Hertfordshire offices.

Forster says: “They were great. And working nine to five means I could hit the gym after work.”

The mother of two, who stuck to the glycemic index diet to lose the weight, will run the marathon for charity Children with Leukaemia.


Carr-Smith joins C-NLIS board
