The firm launched its listing service last week, providing brokers with free directory listings on Mortgages.co.uk.
But the website is keen to work exclusively with a partner to pro-mote the service and develop other opportunities to help brokers capitalise on the increasing use of the internet by consumers.
Kevin Friend, strategic partnerships director at Mortgages.co.uk, refused to be drawn on the distributor’s identity but confirms that the company involved is a prominent market player.
He adds it’s vital that brokers are able to capitalise on the web’s growing popularity.
Friend says: “The type of consumers we see looking for mortgage advice have used PCs and the internet all their lives – they are often referred to as the PlayStation Generation.
“If brokers want to target them they must be able to capitalise on the internet now.”
